Flu Clinics

We are now booking in all patients that are eligible for the free NHS flu vaccination, we have already started sending messages and calling all patents that are eligible for the annual flu vaccine this includes patient that are over 65 years old, are currently pregnant or have a long term health condition to be able to get you booked in for our flu clinics.

50-64 year olds requesting a flu vaccination in 20/21

Whilst we’ve received information that all 50-64 year olds may be eligible for a free flu vaccination as part of plans to protect more people against seasonal flu, these free vaccinations will be subject to delivery later in the year.

This allows us (GP’s and community pharmacists) to focus on those who are in an at risk group, such as pregnant women and people with long term health conditions. They will be given priority and offered the vaccine first; if you are in this category you will be contacted.

Following the governments announcement for extension to the influenza campaign for 2020/21 we are now inviting patients between the ages of 50 to 64 to book in for a flu vaccination through the practice. Contact the practice to get your vaccination booked in. The updated list for flu clinics for December 2020 is as follows:

05 Dec 2020 – available to 50-64 years of age

08 Dec 2020 – available to 50-64 years of age

09 Dec 2020 – available to 50-64 years of age

11 Dec 2020 – available to clinically at risk, over 65’s, children eligible for nasal vaccination and people 50-64 years of age

16 Dec 2020 – available to clinically at risk and people aged over 50 – no under 18’s

17 Dec 2020 – available to clinically at risk, over 65’s, children eligible for nasal vaccination and people 50-64 years of age

18 Dec 2020 – available to 50-64 years of age
