A carer is someone who "Carers (unpaid) for family or friends who have a disability, illness or who need support in later life" or "Needs support to manae a life of their own". There are around 6.5 million people in the UK who are carers.

Carers First work with Lincolnshire County Council supporting carers within Lincolnshire who look after a relative or friend who cannot manage without their support. They can Provide information, advice, guidance, emotional support, training and activities.
