Practice services 

The practice offer a range of services to our registered patients. These include:

Family planning: Dr R Li Wan Po runs an adhoc clinic where appointments are offered for insertion/removal/replacement of IUD/IUS (coils and implants). Discuss with reception if you would like to arrange an appointment.

Health Kiosk: The practice has a Health Kiosk in the waiting room which can be used for checking your blood pressure, height, weight and completing health questionnaires. If you enter your details into the kiosk the readings and responses will be saved directly to your record. All patients are welcome to use the kiosk at any time. 

Joint Injections: Appointments for joint injections are available following a review with a clinician. You will be put on a waiting list and offered an appointment in one of our clinics.

Mole/Skin lesion: Dr G Li Wan Po runs a weekly clinic where patients with moles or skin lesions they are concerned about can be reviewed.

SMR:  Reviews run by our PCN pharmacy team reviewing a patients medication with all aspects of health considered—helping patients especially those taking multiple medications.

Travel Clinic: Our nursing team offer appointments for advice and vaccinations for travel. There are a range of travel vaccinations available and nurses will check your record to check if you are needing any appropriate for your destination.

The practice offer appointments and referrals to a range of clinicians and services based on your need. Within the practice we have our team of Doctors, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Nurses who can see patients for a range of issues. As part of our Primary Care Network we also have appointments available with a mental health team, musculoskeletal team, pharmacists. We can also refer patient's to a range of services such as our Social prescriber, OneYou Lincolnshire and more!

Nurses services.

Routine appointments with the nursing team can be booked up 12 weeks in advance.

The nursing services available at the practice include:

· Blood tests (before 3pm only—except Wednesday’s)

· Investigations including d-dimer, ECG, 24 hour BP

· Infant, Child and Adult immunisations

· Cervical screenings (smears)

· Wound care, including removal of clips and sutures

· Chronic disease reviews (such as Asthma, Hypertension, Diabetes, COPD, CKD, Heart conditions to name a few)

· Contraception initiation

· Lifestyle health checks: From age 5 onwards—simple checks such as height, weight, smoking, alcohol, blood pressure and urine testing. Patients ages between 40 and 74 will be invited for NHS health checks which include blood tests.

· Housebound: Our Healthcare Assistant visits housebound patients for routine appointments if required. This is only available to patients who have been clinically assessed as housebound by the Doctors.

📢 Important Change: Ear Wax Removal Services 📢 

From 1st April 2025, our practice will no longer offer ear syringing due to safety concerns. Self-care and safer alternatives like microsuction are now recommended. 

🔹 What to do? ✅ Try self-care – Ear drops may help (ask your pharmacy). ✅ Need help? – Your GP can assess and refer eligible patients. ✅ Private options – Available at Boots, Specsavers & others (fees apply).
